Frequently Asked Questions

About Central Pets

Central Pets is a veterinary prescription and compounding service designed to make pet medication access simpler for pet owners, vets, mobile vets, and veterinary clinics. We support the supply of prescription veterinary medicines, veterinary-only medicines, and compounded preparations where a valid prescription has been provided by a registered veterinarian.
Orders placed through Central Pets are reviewed and dispensed by Central Labs Compounding Pharmacy, the licensed pharmacy responsible for prescription assessment, dispensing, compounding where required, labelling, and pharmacist oversight.
No. Central Pets is not a veterinary clinic and does not replace your veterinarian. Your veterinarian remains responsible for examining your pet, diagnosing the condition, deciding whether medication is appropriate, and issuing the prescription.

We can provide pharmacy support about medication supply, storage, and administration instructions. We do not diagnose conditions or replace veterinary advice.
